For over a decade Microsoft Office has been the foundation of computers in the workplace. This year Microsoft has released its latest version.

One of the biggest changes Microsoft made with the 2007 version of office was the new interface. Microsoft has built on this same interface in this version. Microsoft have also made the editions simpler by having only three different versions.
Microsoft Access 2010

Microsoft Access is the program used to create relational databases. The built in wizards can help users create simple databases in a matter of minutes, however the integrated programming language, Visual Basic makes it possible for advanced users to create very powerful applications.

Microsoft Excel 2010

Microsoft Excel is the spreadsheet package offered by Microsoft. This program can help you create everything from a simple table through to a complicated book keeping system or scientific data analysis.

Microsoft OneNote 2010

Microsoft OneNote works like an computerised notebook. OneNote has built in functionality to share your notebooks with several different users at the same time. You can combine text, images, audio, hand writen notes and screen captures in one place. This is a great program for storing lecture or meeting notes.

Microsoft Outlook 2010

Microsoft Outlook is used by businesses all over the world as their tool for managing emails, calendars, contacts, tasks and notes. This program integrates with Microsoft Exchange Server to make it possible to share information between users and with mobile and web devices. The 2010 version of Outlook boasts several improvements including a vastly improved search facility.
