Besides his primary role managing application compatibility for Windows Mobile, Mel also oversees his team’s presence at the MEDC 2006 (The Microsoft Mobile & Embedded DevCon ) and their participation in the ISV Buddy Program and other community efforts. Mel graduated from Illinois State University in 2000 with a degree in Computer Science and Economics, and prior to Microsoft, he owned a small ISV that wrote consumer software for Windows Mobile devices.
