Default Office Professional Plus 2007 System Restore no lo

Windows XP forum: Model Restore no lengthier works (Windows Activation) by: Chris G Davis June 27, 2006 2:58 AM PDT
by Chris G Davis - June 27,Office Professional, 2006 2:58 AM PDT I use WinXp Home. Dell laptop computer. two 1/2 a long time outdated. Do not ever any situations. I've undertaken a few profitable Program Restores.Yesterday I attempted to make a smaller sized font checklist for Windows-based applications. My strategy was:one) Rename the ''Fonts'' directory (in c:Windows) to ''Fonts_02''2) Build a new directory termed ''Fonts''3) Copy my very few picked fonts from ''Fonts_02'' to ''Fonts''4) Restart Windows. The strategy couldn't be implemented considering Windows would not let ''Fonts'' to be renamed to ''Fonts_02''.I right-clicked on ''Fonts'' > Properties, and tried using to remove ''Read-only''. I didn't think it worked.I right-clicked on ''Windows'' > Properties, and attempted the same thing. Again, I don't think it worked. So I abandoned the system. To be on the safe side, I checked ''Read-only'' first for Windows,Office Professional Plus, then for Fonts.I thought I was back to where I was originally. This morning when I rebooted,Windows 7 Home Premium, I got an instruction to ''Activate this duplicate of Windows''.I guessed it might be considering I was doing things in the Windows directory, so I tried using to do a Product Restore back to two days ago. On clicking Next, nothing happened. I waited 10 minutes,Office Professional Plus 2007, Still nothing happened.I repeated the last steps, but in Safe mode. Still Windows Restore wouldn't operate.I'm quite happy to activate Windows,Office Home And Business, but I don't want to do it now (I'm at work), considering my system CD is at home, and I might be asked for it. I can at least work for the rest of the day until I get family home. Can anyone explain what's happening?Regards,Alan
