Q: San Jacinto resident Tom Hunter e-mailed to ask about the legalities of posting a for-sale sign in vehicles.
Hunter said a friend is trying to sell a pickup and has a for-sale sign in its rear window. His friend spoke with the Hemet police and was told it's illegal to keep the sign in the window and that he risked an $80 fine.
"There are hundreds of cars on the roads today and in major shopping areas with for-sale signs displayed, windows 7 home basic x86," Hunter wrote. "Are all these in violation of the law?"

A: No. People driving around with for-sale signs in their vehicle windows are not breaking Hemet law, Cpl. D. Reinbolt of the police department's traffic division said.
Hemet's municipal code, section 90-1422(g), bars people from parking vehicles in off-street parking facilities, microsoft office 2010 pro 64 bit key, such as a store's parking lot, for the purpose of trying to sell them, Reinbolt said.
But leaving the for-sale sign in your pickup in your own driveway -- or keeping it in the truck while you're running errands and parking in a store's lot -- is not against the law, said Kathy White, Hemet's senior code enforcement officer.
If a vehicle is parked, say,buy windows 7 ultimate, in a Walmart parking lot during business hours, "we wouldn't mess with it," White said.
If it were left in a spot at one end of the lot, with a for-sale sign, when there are other spaces available closer to the store, and it sits there for several hours, "it's pretty clear it's sitting there for sale purposes" and the owner risks an $80 fine from the police, White said.
Q: Lupe Martinez has lived on Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta since 1989. She says that not only has traffic worsened considerably since then, but drivers seem to be increasingly rushed and reckless.
When she heard news reports several months ago about other cities doing away with red-light cameras -- because, win 7 generator, Martinez said, they were causing rear-end collisions -- she hoped Murrieta would do the same.
The city has red-light cameras at two intersections near her home along Murrieta Hot Springs Road, at Margarita and Whitewood roads.
A: Murrieta has no plans to remove the red-light cameras along Murrieta Hot Springs Road, said Lt. Sean Hadden, who oversees the Murrieta police traffic division. Since installing the camera, the police have seen a reduction in the number of people running red lights at those intersections. Still, it happens enough that the cameras catch a lot of violators -- 1,315 of them in the first seven months of 2009 alone, Hadden said.
