更大的可能性是摇摆惶惑于信与不信之间。一方面以大陆不敢打为自己壮胆，另一方面又以大陆的导弹威胁制造悲 情，这种逻辑上的悖论从深层次上反映了阿扁们又要豪赌又怕输的心态。 ­

然而阿扁信不信并不重要。重要的是台湾问题事关生死存亡，大陆没有谁能承担得起丢失台湾的责任。失去台湾意 味着历史地失去中国。台独对国家安全的威胁已高于越战的威胁，甚至高于朝鲜战争对国家安全的威胁。故台湾一 旦独立除了不惜一切代价外没有别的选项、没有别的可能。因而对台独的威慑不仅表明大陆有能力打赢一场反台独 的战争，更表明大陆有决心制止一场国家和民族的悲剧。 ­
