Flag as inappropriate (18) DHCP threshold scope 80% complete windows2003 server
Tech-Archive suggests: Fix Windows Mistakes & Optimize Windows Performance From: "David Burghgraeve" <DavidBurghgraeve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Date: Fri, 5 Aug 2005 00:06:29 -0700 We're using "DHCP server" on a windows2003 Server.We're getting these mistakes:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: DhcpServer
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1020
Date: 3/08/2005
Time: 19:50:48
User: N/A
Computer: NETSERVER
Description:
Scope,Office 2010 Pro Plus, 10.156.32.0, is 81 percent complete with only 35 IP addresses remaining.
==> I found that the threshold cannot be modified, but it's for NT4/3.51. Since Windows2003
is pretty new and anvanced, microsoft office 2010 64 bit, I wonder if there's still a way to change it.
Thanks for reply's.
PS: it's not an option to expand our scope. I want to set the threshold to 90%.
PS2: filtering out in our monitorring isn't an option too. We have 150 Scopes to
manage ....
