I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland at College Park. I am completing the final bits of my thesis work and actively searching for post-graduation opportunities. I am the happy recipient of a 2009 Google Ph.D. Fellowship.

I am affiliated with the Human Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCIL) here at UMD. I also work closely with the people at the Cornell Information Science Department (where my advisor now resides). I interned at Microsoft Research Cambridge in the Summer of 2008 and at Ricoh Innovations in Summer 2009.

As you may have inferred by this point, my interests are in HCI,air 90,air jordan, particularly in the area where hardware meets user interfaces. Here are some of things I'm working on at the moment:
Improved electronic reading devices
Automated tracking of how people interact with paper (primarily reading)
Design and testing of interfaces for pen-based computing
Power consumption-aware interfaces
