Student accommodation on the rise in Cardiff
The amount of student accommodation available in the Welsh capital has risen significantly over the last ten years, it has been revealed.
According to figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act and cited in the South Wales Echo, the number of such dwellings has increased by 50 per cent during this time.

Mr Bridges went on to suggest that as the numbers of undergraduates heading to the city rises, more thought should be put into how the quality of housing available to them can be improved.
In some cases, onsite accommodation is preferable to residences based elsewhere in the area, he claimed.
