Default How often do you have to do a particular task

Systemization boils down to this question: is a lot manual labor required inthis opportunity, or are the components set up so that all the processes happennaturally and automatically, without you intervening much? Consider where theopportunity falls on a continuum of effort. On one end, you’ve got somethingthat’s pure manual labor: digging ditches by hand, for example. You’re outthere sticking the shovel in the ground and tossing the dirt to the side nike high heel shoes for women , allday, over and over. On the other end, you could almost completely automate theprocess by using a backhoe to dig the ditches. We’re not quite there yet, but therecould soon come a time when this is all roboticized. You plug in thecoordinates and the parameters of the ditch you want dug: the depth, the width, and the length. Then you set it running and sit back in the shade, maybe have acold beverage and nice snack, and watch as the ditch is dug automatically. That’s systemization in action for you: the robotic ditch-digger is doing itall for you.
Even if the system isn’t automated, it may be possible to automate it fairlyeasily. If you’ve got something working, document what you’re doing. Write itdown. If you’re lazy ladies nike high heels , get a mini cassette recorder, record it, and then havethat transcribed into a set of instructions. Now you can train others to dowhat you were doing; and the fact is, you should find someone else to do itjust as soon as you can. Now, they may not do something as perfectly as well asyou did, but if they can hit 85% of your results, that’s fine. It will be wellworth it. With all the time you free up, you can focus on systemizing morethings, scaling up your marketing efforts, creating new marketing systems, orjoining other solid business opportunities. Multiple streams of income, anyone?
So when you’re examining something, you have to ask yourself what you haveto do specifically to operate the system. What’s done for you, how,and why? Can the promoters explain this very clearly? Can they draw it out foryou? Don’t hesitate to ask, and to press them on it! Why does it work? If it’smanual labor, what specifically do you have to do? What are the limits toit? How often do you have to do a particular task?
Automate things as much as possible. Delegate them. Use technology so thatthings happen automatically. In the past, I’ve actually hired someone to createcustom software for me to automate my repetitious activity. Document, automate, and then focus on scaling up your efforts. Think of it like you’re building alittle money machine. There are all these parts and responsibilities that fittogether to spit out cash. At first, you’re the machine, doing everythingyourself. But as you go, make sure you turn over the responsibilities toothers. Who, you might ask? Why, interns, employees, contractors, stay‐at‐homemoms, college students looking for extra work, freelancers, outsourcers livingin India.Anybody but you. Because look at it like this: there are only 24 hours in theday. By working smarter and systemizing things, it will be better for yoursanity and for your bank account.
You want things that are as automated as possible―because if it’s all manuallabor, you’re going to burn out. Working like a dog on a business opportunityis okay in the very beginning; but trust me micheal jordan heels , it gets old fast. I’ve alreadyrevealed the dangers of an opportunity that just turns you into anotherunderpaid, overworked employee. What you really want is something that can bedocumented, automated, and scaled up. If something is so specialized that onlyyou can do it, then I’ve got bad news for you: you’ve just hung an albatrossaround your neck. If only you can do something, then you’re the one that hasto be doing it, doing it, doing it forever, until the cows come home or youdrop to the floor from sheer tedium. You’ve already got a busy life. You’vealready got a full schedule. Why make it worse?
So look close before you jump into the fray. Does thisopportunity require a lot of manual labor, or is it pretty much automated?Again, a lot of manual labor is fine in the beginning in order to hit escapevelocity and get your enterprise off the ground. But after that, focus onsystemizing.
