Well from my years of living in the area and having many family members as UAW members, I think they pick a "strike target". It is usually the one of the Big 3 doing the best, so basically it is down to GM and Ford at that point. Then they hammer out a deal, with or without a strike, and then the other two are supposed to basically fall in line with the first contract. So the first company was almost like a proxy for the other two. This cycle things are obviously quite different.Good point about union fat cats and corruption with the health care plan. I think you are dead on and I give it about a decade for something to float to the top and become public jordans for women heels , but it will be within the next 2-3 years for the actual corruption to start.
