Hosomaki, or thin rolls, is the smaller cylindrical piecewith the nori on the outsite. The normal diameter of hosomaki is about twocentimeters and generally contain only one filling which is either a choice of thinly sliced carrots, tuna, kanpyo, and cucumber.
Inarizushi is another type of sushi. It is made from sushi rice stuffed with fried tofu. theShinto God Inari is the said to be the source of its name. Inari,according to legend, loves to eat friedtofu. Fried tofu's pouch is commonly deep fried. The cooking style for thissushi also varies from different regions.
