Default Office 2007 Keygen blog best-blogger-meet-up-ever

I’m in Boston for your ER Expo (a recruiting conference). In the past year, blogging has gotten pretty popular within the recruiting industry, and to kick off the conference, David Manaster (president of ERE) organized the (first-ever?) recruiter blogger meet-up. Wow. Don’t get me wrong . . . I’ve been to many a blogger meet-up and geek dinner and I genuinely enjoy them, but often meeting bloggers in person is . . . well . . . less than awe-inspiring. It’s like a weird blind-date. That super cool, super funny,Office 2007 Enterprise, super smart person you love to read isn’t quite as charismatic and impressive as you imagined. (And I include myself in that bunch . . . I am much cooler via the written word.) But strike that comment in the recruiting world. Last night’s blogger meet-up was full of animated debates,Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus, passionate tirades, and of course, silly antics. It started at 7pm,Office 2007 Keygen, and several beers, a jager shot (thanks to Jobster's Dave!), and 6 hours later,Windows 7 Key, I finally retired for the evening. And get this . . . apparently, I am considered a pioneer in the recruiter blogger space. My fellow bloggers even clapped for me when we introduced ourselves. Aw, guys (and Heather Hartmann), you’re the best! We took a group photo, and I’ll add that here later once I receive a copy. After day one of the conference, it’s going great. Worried that companies’ recruiting departments are run by a bunch of lame suits who don’t “get it,” can’t identify talent, and don’t care about the applicant experience? (Per Michael, I think those people are called “HR Weenies.”) Well, worry not. I have been very impressed by the intellect, insight,Office 2010 Key, passion, and compassion I’ve witnessed amongst these leaders in the recruiting community. (Call me pleasantly surprised.) I feel very, very good about the future of the recruiting industry and the positive downstream we’ll see in the coming years. Next week, I’ll blog about some interesting things I’ve heard this week. But anyway, if you want to experience a really fun blogger dinner, find the recruiters. gretchen
