Sony rep: Japanese disaster hasn't impacted NGP release
A report suggesting the Japanese earthquake and tsunami would delay the release of the NGP has reportedly been debunked by Sony.
“So far we see no impact from the quake on our launch plan,” a Sony representative said,
Microsoft Office 2010 Professional, according to The Wall Street Journal (subscriber content).
According to Sony’s man, the Bloomberg report on the matter, which had SCE America boss Jack Tretton citing the Japanese disaster as cause to release the new console in only one region, as simply “wrong”.
The spokesperson went on to explain that Sony never promised a simultaneous global launch,
Microsoft Office Pro 2007, confirming earlier comments from Tretton on the subject.
Rumours have the console’s release pegged down for late 2011,
Office 2010 Pro Key, with a November European release specifically mentioned.
Sony has revealed only that it will release the console in a staggered fashion,
Windows 7 Ultimate, starting this year.
