Men's jewelry casts a line into fishhook fashion,beads for pandora
While researching the resurgence of knot bars because one treatise in Sunday's Image section,pandora bracelet sizes, distinct men's jewelry and accessories trend caught my eye -- fishhooks.
This particular sea-faring character came to my care while chatting with Darren Gold, co-owner of Alpha Gear for Gents on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, who told me that instead of bright, lustrous bling, the type of entities that were resonating with his purchasers were wooden bracelets and additional items that had a heritage vibe.
"Everything is seen through namely vintage lens," he says. "Like a weathered, vintage fishhook aboard a belt that looks like you could have plucked it out of your grandfather's wardrobe. It fits in with the whole heritage clothing trend -- that prompt you of of workmen or ship captains."
Gold says the marine motif,does pandora or troll have a bead that is a peach, which dovetails (or, maybe, fishtails) perfectly with the marine trends in apparel, is starting to make waves.
"The fishhook thing is so muscular I'm carrying a fishhook strand and a fishhook belt -- from 2 entirely another companies,gold princess pandora charm," he said. (The necklace he's referring to is from the spring 2011 "Port of Call" collection from menswear and accessories brand CXXVI,pandora style necklaces, the belt by Miansai.)
Gold's observation may help explain an of the more perplexing shape expressions I'd discerned by Coachella; the yachting cap. That distinctive chip of two-tone headgear with a pearly crown and dark or marine visor emblazoned with yachting regalia could be seen bobbing and weaving via the multitude at the boatload.
