Once your application has been sent to Victoria University, you can expect to receive an email confirming the receipt of your application.
Most applications are processed within two to three weeks, however some applications including research and those involving credit for prior learning might take up 6 to 8 weeks.
Letter of offer
If you receive a letter of offer,Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2007, this means you have met the entry requirements and been offered a place to study with us.
If you have applied for credit transfer and have been successful, this information are going to be included in your own letter of offer, as well as the revised course duration and the amount of credit you have received. The actual details of your credits are going to be determined at the time of your enrolment.
Conditional offer
If you have received a conditional letter of offer, this means you have been granted a place to study at Victoria University if you meet the conditions stated inside your letter of offer.
You must fulfil these conditions and provide evidence to VU that you have done so before you can accept your offer . If you are unable to provide this information, we cannot process your Acceptance Form, and your student visa will likely be declined. Accepting your offer
To accept your place at Victoria University you must: complete and submit an International Offer Acceptance Form make the initial deposit payment stated in your own letter of offer
include an extra A$50 to cover the bank fees charged for processing telegraphic transfer payments (TT, wire remittance) Find more information in the Accept Your Offer at VU booklet. Your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE)
After successfully accepting your place at VU, you'll receive an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE).
This is an official document that confirms your place with us. You are going to need it when you apply in your student visa, your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and for other administrative processes.
Your eCoE will contain information regarding your: total course fee
course start date
total course duration This information will include any successful credit transfers, with the course duration being amended accordingly. If you have deferred your course starting date, the new semester commencement date will probably be indicated.
All students younger than 18 must have a guardian before they would be issued with an eCOE. Your guardian must be an Australian resident over the age of 21. You can read more about visa applications for students under 18 years of age. Understanding your tuition fees and deposit
A letter of offer includes details on: the total deposit fee
the semester tuition fee (which is the same as the deposit fee)
the course duration The deposit fee will need to get paid along with the submission of the Student Acceptance Form. Students are also required to pay their semester tuition fee before the commencement of each semester.
After the student receives their electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE), the student's total course fee is going to be available. This amount shall be adjusted to any changes a credit transfer might possibly have on their course duration, if any has been applied and accepted.
Victoria University reserves the right to annually adjust course tuition fees to take into account increases in University and program delivery costs. Changes to tuition fees will undoubtedly be applied at the beginning of each calendar year.
The schedule of course fees are posted on January 1 each year (the relevant section for international students is Part D).
From the event of a variation between the fees on the offer letter and the approved University schedule of fees, the approved schedule will prevail. Course tuition fees are invoiced on a semester basis based on the enrolled load for that particular semester.
Payment methods
Payments made from offshore locations can be made by means of: bank transfers
telegraphic transfers (TT, wire) Payments made within Australia can be processed thru: direct bank transfer

Electronic Funds Transfer because of Point Of Sale (EFTPOS) at our international service desk We advise payments within Australia to become made by means of a direct bank transfer or bank cheque. Mandatory Visa Length Cover (VLC)
Mandatory Visa Length Cover (VLC) for all student visa applicants became effective from July 1, 2010.
Current visa holders are not required to have VLC as their application has already been assessed and approved by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). If you apply for a subsequent visa after July 1 2010 you can be required to provide evidence you have visa length OSHC to DIAC.
