BEIJING, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- China's space agency successfully corrected the orbit of its Shenzhou 6 space craft early Friday.
Xinhua, the official government news agency, reported the craft was restored to its original trajectory. The Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center said gravity had pulled Shenzhou 6 too close to earth.
The spacecraft was launched Wednesday, carrying two crew members on China's second manned flight. Shenzhou 6 has already exceeded the 21.5-hour duration of the country's first manned flight, by Yang Liwei on Shenzhou 5 in 2003.
The course correction was done as the spacecraft made its 30th orbit. Officials described it as routine.
Shenzhou 6 is to remain in orbit for up to five days.related articles：
