I came online (I bought mine at Zappos a month ago) hoping I would find something by MBT more updated and I did! MBT `s Fora GTX does what it promises. If you’re up for a serious walk get these shoes! It’s lighter than my previous one, less bulky, fits snug (has a narrower heel and that means no blisters), the GoreTex conforms to your feet. Just yesterday, I was in Houston and went for a walk on the bayou at George Bush Park. My feet didn’t get wet! How wonderful is that? I’ve been there several times before walking on that trail with my old MBT’s on and my socks would get soaking wet! Also the rubber protection in the front is very welcome if you walk on trails or gravel roads, when kicking a rock is almost inevitable.
