NEWPORT – For nearly two hours, about 150 Miami University sorority sisters sat on a BB Riverboat with lifejackets strapped over their dresses.
And after the chaos calmed and the boat was unloaded, they waited in the rain for a bus to take them back to Oxford.
Overall, student Catherine Jones described Friday night’s Alpha Phi formal as “pretty miserable.”
